ZelfProof ensures that your wallet is encrypted using a non-biometric binary representation. This encryption occurs on the user’s device, ensuring that private keys and transaction details remain secure and inaccessible to third parties. Zelf utilizes your face and an optional password to decrypt your ZelfProof and you can re-generate a different ZelfProof whenever you want to change the password encrypting it.
How is ZNS different to all other traditional biometric wallets?
Unlike traditional biometrics, the Zelf Proof architecture does not store any biometric data. It creates a non-biometric binary representation, ensuring the users’ facial information is never stored or exposed, greatly reducing privacy risks in crypto wallet usage.
