ZK Face Proof ™ is an innovative solution that combines the ease of facial authentication with the advanced security of cryptography. Access your digital services quickly and securely, without compromising your personal data or storing sensitive information.

Input
  • Face (Required): The user's face is captured through a device's camera. This input is mandatory as it forms the basis of the ZelfProof generation.
  • Metadata (Optional): Additional data that the user can provide to further secure the ZelfProof. This could include information like your 12 words of your crypto wallet or a password for your Gmail account.
  • Password (Optional): A password can be added to enhance security.
Process
  • ZelfEncrypt: The algorithm uses face data to generate a unique, non-biometric binary representation called ZelfProof, which facilitates highly secure authentication, encryption, and verification processes.
  • Liveness Detection: Every end user undergoes a liveness detection for proof of humanity, which prevents spoofing and man-in-the-middle (MITM) attacks.
Output
  • ZelfProof: The output is an encrypted packet, devoid of any biometric information, which can be used for subsequent face verification. The ZelfProof (Zero Knowledge-Face Proof) is a secure representation that can be stored or transmitted without compromising the user's privacy.

What are zk Face Proofs?

zk Face Proofs is a propietary encryption algorithm replacing legacy hardware root of trust architectures, an enabling biometric root of trust architectures.

zk Face Proofs generate a privacy-preserving binary representation of a user’s face, without storing any biometric data. This ensures that any type of data (private date or metadata) is never exposed or stored in the device or server, enhancing the security and privacy of the service.

They can be implemented for ID Issuance, decentralized enrollment and authentication, verifiable credentials, digital asset protection, and any type of encryption.

Zelf Proof is the implementation of zk Face Proof for a seed phrase (private key).

This is the visual representation of the Zelf-Proof. In the case of Zelf Name Service, our flagship product, each Zelf QR code represents a proof of a the seed phrase.

ZELF does not use servers, instead it relies on encryption and decryption from the local device. In addition, ZELF doesn’t use databases, instead it relies on decentralized storage systems like Arweave, IPFS, and AVAX Blockchain.
